I’m one of those few lucky people who took the risk and moved from the hustle and bustle of a big city and corporate life to a small tropical island, and succeeded in making my dreams come true.

No professional training, no experience, just passion, hard work, a hard head and some good baking genes (thanks, Mom & Granny!), equipped with my late Grandma’s red pan and a few ideas I decided to open a teeny tiny cake & coffee shop in Bali. And it worked! I couldn’t have done it without the help and support of my family and my Balinese husband Marshello and his family – THANK YOU!

Since the opening August 2011 I have gained a few good years of experience, learning from my own mistakes mostly, and discovered that baking wasn’t quite enough – hello, cake decorating! My inner artist has found its way to express itself, and through food – yay!

I love what I do and am truly blessed to have a job that I love and enjoy so much. I try to design and create cakes that are personal, unique and individually tailored for each client and I’m always up for new challenges and ideas, there is nothing that I won’t at least try tackle – after all, I’ve got my Granny’s magic red pan with me.
